Inn
November 10-13 |
Artist Saim Caglayan always inspires us with his vision and creativity, and we’re happy to collaborate with him on this first-ever event – Art at the Inn, November 10–14. Saim has invited a select group of eight noted California landscape artists to the Inn for a long weekend of painting in the autumn desert. Meteor
Shower
November 17-18 |
Come and enjoy the celestial
fireworks. The Leonids is one of the better meteor showers to observe, producing an average of 40 meteors per hour at peak, usually on November 17 & 18, but you may see meteors from November 13-20. Look for the shower radiating from the constellation Leo after midnight. The biggest displays usually come right before dawn. This year the moon will set behind our western mountains by around 3:00 A.M. -- a perfect stage setting! See the show both in the early morning (stay the 17th) and evening (stay the 18th).
