The Anza Borrego Desert State Park has more than 500 miles of roads that are open to bicycles. There are routes up rocky inclines, through deep sand, along scenic streams (sometimes) and down steep hills. Both primitive jeep roads and paved roads are open to bicycles.

But please don't ride off-road across the open desert – the trail you leave will take years to heal, and will be visible to others all that time.

Check out this link for some ride descriptions: www.desertusa.com/anza_borrego/du_abp_bike.html

And for you road cyclists, we've got it all – from flat and straight to grueling inclines with hairpin curves. Come on out for a desert century ride!
