Start your day with a steaming cup of Equator coffee and a fresh gourmet “Badlands Breakfast” prepared by our chef, Pamela Levens. Featuring different items daily, Pamela's menus include freshly-squeezed juices, homemade baked goods, seasonal fruit platters, yogurt parfaits, and savory dishes such as potato-chorizo tacos with salsa verde, chilaquiles, bagel bread pudding with goat cheese, grilled sausages and peppers, and much more. With a delicious breakfast, you'll be ready to hit the trails, shop, and wander until it's time for our selection of homemade cookies and a cup of tea by the fire. Coffee and tea service is available daily from 7:15 A.M. until 5:45 P.M.

Breakfast is served in the guest lobby October through May, from 7:30-9:00 A.M. daily. June through September, we place a breakfast basket in your room refrigerator each day.

Pool Areas

Relax and unwind in our two pool areas, each with a 32' by 16' pool, hot tub, chaise lounges, pool floats, and shade structures. Both pools have beautiful mountain views. Our main pool is heated for inviting winter swims.

One pool area is designated as clothing-optional. This area is fenced for the seclusion and privacy of those who enjoy taking in the sun and stars au naturel. This pool area is closest to rooms #1-7, within a short walk from each room's private back patio.

Pool lights go out at 11 P.M. for starlight swimming, and pool areas are open to guests all day, every day.

In our guest building, you're surrounded by an impressive gallery of paintings by some of California's most respected plein air artists. Here you'll find our registration desk and a friendly Guest Host to assist you. Enjoy the morning paper and afternoon tea and cookies in front of the fireplace.

Browse our library for books and information about the area and peruse local restaurant menus. You'll also find one-of-a-kind gift items including hand-crafted jewelry by local artists, botanical soaps and lotions, and our own line of caps, shirts, and tops. We offer complimentary WiFi in the lounge and throughout the property.
